The Community Health Centres (CHCs) constitute the secondary level of health care, were designed to provide referral as well as specialist health care to the rural population. Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) for CHCs have been prescribed under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) since early 2007 to provide optimal specialized care to the community and achieve and maintain an acceptable standard of quality of care. As setting standards is a dynamic process, the need was felt to update the IPHS keeping in view the changing protocols of existing National Health Programmes, development of new programmes especially for noncommunicable diseases and prevailing epidemiological situation in the country and different States/UTs of the country; accordingly the revision has been carried out. These standards would act as benchmarks and help monitor and improve the functioning of the CHCs.

Rangeilunda Block is situated in Ganjam district of Odisha. Rangeilunda Block's total area is 8,60.16 sq.km. The block surrounded with sea areas, flood prone areas. The block famous for Gopalpur sea beach, Markandi beach, Sidha bhairabi temple & Panchama Ganesh temple.

ORIENTATION ON KAYAKALP NEW GUIDELINE BMWM NQAS PREPARATION ACTION PLAN WORKPLACE MANAGEMENT

The BIOMEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT & QUALITY ASSURANCE MEETING (NQAS, KAYAKALP NEW GUIDELINE, WORKPLACE MANAGEMENT) was held on dated 07/12/2024 at CHC meeting hall Keluapalli 12.30pm. The meeting was presided by the Superintendent CHC Keluapalli Dr. Sujit Mahapatra. In the meeting Mr. Sanjay Kumar Parida, Asst. Manager of Quality Assurance, Quality Cell, NHM, Ganjam is oriented on the key points of quality health services in all aspects at CHC level as well as at PHC and SC AAM level. He requested to provide qualitative health services, monitoring & supervision of health services providing in time at CHC Keluapalli as well as at PHC and SC AAM level .
